Reisebericht: Pivska planina

Reisebericht von Marko Doboš zum Naturformen-Eintrag S. heuffelii from Pivska planina

On the same day I visited Pliješ planina in Bosnia, at the end of the day we were heading
towards Durmitor NP in Montenegro (Crna Gora).

On our way to Žabljak we crossed Pivska planina plateu. Montenegro is a land of mountains so Semps and Jovibarba could be seen on many parts. Same was on Pivska planina.
I saw some Jovibarba heuffelii growing next to the road.

Although ''planina'' is a word for a mountain (Montenegran, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian...same word in basically same language), it is actually a plateau.

                            Canyon of Piva river looked out of this world in the fog.

                     Artificial Lake Piva (Pivsko jezero) on Piva river.
