Reisebericht von Marko Doboš zum Naturformen-Eintrag S. marmoreum from Mt. Svilaja
Dear friends,
I apologize for not being active lately,
but this cold rainy day is perfect for doing something else
than transplanting and hiking in mountains.
I want to show you some habitat pics of S.marmoreum from Mt. Svilaja (Croatia).
I visited this mountain twice, but I'll show you pics from May 2015. Once again I'm sorry it took me whole year to publish
Svilaja is part of Dinaric Mountains and it is located in southern part of Croatia called Zagora. I visited only Southwestern half, and skipped it's highest peak Bat (1508 m).
If you're gonna visit please inform well first or find a local guide because not only
most venomous snake of Europe lives there, but also large areas are still covered
in minefields. Be careful!
I brought both glabrous and pilose forms of S.marmoreum from Mt. Svilaja in culture. Both plants have precise locality data and seem to be a good growers so I in the future there will be enough plants for everyone's collection.
Enjoy!
Marko

Hallo, dear Marko,
thank you that we can look at your good pictures. The plants are wonderful. Interesting to find both forms - the glabrous and the pilose one.
I'll take them into our "Lexikon + Bildergalerie".
Best wishes for your next tours.

(Ich glaube, dass ich dieses Mal die Sätze von Marko und mir nicht übersetzen muss. Rios Text kann Marko verstehen, denke ich.)
